The Grandia games as far as their Stories have gone, have been getting progressively worse (although it does have a good intro). The story in this game was terrible and lacked depth and have obvious plot development...you could literally always see what was coming next, everything was reused and obvious. The only good part about the game was the unique battle system that the Grandia games sport. This battle system was better than all the previous one's except Grandia Xtreme, (Although the Air Combos were annoying).
